Introduction
This demo provides a step-by-step demonstration of the MediaRecorder
application; however, it can also be used as an introductory
tutorial. It will walk you through a number of the features offered by
the the tool including: screen recording, live video and audio capture,
and still image capture.
Start MediaRecorder without the script
Clicking on this feature will open up MediaRecorder with
all of the appropriate options set to run through the demo
script. It will not open the demo script inside of a browser.
Product Features
MediaRecorder is an easy to use, bundled tool that provides video,
audio, and screen capture funcionality for the O2. You can capture
media into movie, audio or image files from a number of input sources,
including: the O2 screen, line-in or microphone audio inputs, the O2
camera (optional), or any of the video input ports in the O2
professional video option.
A simple UI allows for quick setup of most recording tasks, with
optional Custom Settings for more advanced users. MediaRecorder can
also take advantage of the O2 ICE compression hardware to allow
full-size, full frame-rate video capture and JPEG compression of movie
files.
